Cross in Stratford upon Avon.

Also, it is an odd day.

annnd we're back!

I took some time off, so in apology I am posting three pictures instead of just one.

Liam and Caroline lounging at First Out Cafe in SoHo.

The ruins of a bridge at Warwick Castle.

The bike graveyard at Imperial.

Hopefully, daily posts will resume from here on.

Pancake Day

I am currently short one camera cord, but I will have it back by tomorrow, I am assured, so I am putting up a place holder.
Scott (my "5th" flatmate) and I at Imperial Pub the first week here.
Epic picture.
Scott's drink is Guiness, mine is Blackthorn Cider.

Back on Track

Updates will be ceasing when I am out of town, hence the three day break that was this weekend.
Sunset walking down Gloucester Road, look at the way the sunset reflects on the building on the right, and how crisp the silhouettes are on the chimneys.

Take 2 Cop-out

Again, a view from St. Paul's Cathedral.

I'm sorry for the double take, but it was just so beautiful, it deserved two slots.

Wednesday 30 January 2008

This is one of the views from the top of St. Paul's Cathedral.

If I ask one thing of all of you, please go here if you can in your lifetime.

Chim chim a nee

This is a building outside Imperial.

I kid you not, this is the view from my classroom.

Cool, huh?

Reverence

The church beside the graveyard.

Sunday 27 January 2008

City's Nightlight

Taken on Cromwell Road, walking back from the Vicoria and Albert Museum in the sunset.

I think I'm being too artistic with these photos.

I will attempt to work on that.

Great museum, great sunset as well.

Saturday 26 January 2008

I may or may not have missed Friday's post. My apologies.

An ancient graveyard in front of a church.
The stones in the ground are graves, with markings that are mostly worn away.
A very quiet place. Very, very old.
Best on a cold day.

Worldview

Balcony on the way to school.
It makes me think of hot cups of tea, and good conversations that last long past sunset.

A Cup of Jo

This was taken at a cafe on Earl's Court, while sitting with Rachel, writing in our journals and reading.

Lovely day, very thoughtful and quiet, rainy as well.

The drink is a mochachino, there is 3 quid and fifty pence on the table, and the book is The Virgin Blue by Tracy Chevalier, which I highly, highly recommend.
